I want to purchase a vintage commodore 64 from a person in Canada, will it work in the U.S.? I don%26#39;t want to plug it in and have it go BOOM! will i need a power converter or adapter if so please tell me what i should buy for it
Answer:
You won%26#39;t have any problem with it fitting into your plugs. We have the same here in Canada as the United States.
Now if you go to Europe, you will need to purchase a universal adapter, because there plugs and lights are completely different then ours. Yes. Canadian and US system are compatible 100% You have to worry more when it come from or goes to Europe. Just make sure you don%26#39;t do something foolish like plug it in a higher voltage than it can take. ya it should work. i buy lots of electronics from the state. canada and the states both run on the same type of power you are correct, you need a power converter AND an adapter. you can find this many places. for example best buy. yea because Canada and the u.s.a. use the same voltage If you are in the U.S.! Than it will definately work! Remember Canada and U.S. have the same outlets! No! It won%26#39;t work in the US! Those damned Canadians have developed electronic equipment that works on alpha-current! It will explode and kill you and your family! DO NOT PLUG IT IN! yea, the plugs will work fine for north america (inluding mexico and carribean islands)
but what is a commodore?
