Who is better... Plasma or lcd tv?

LCD TV%26#39;s are by far a better tv the plasma! For a couple of reasons:

1) LCD is cheaper to own and buy

2) Plasma%26#39;s will burn out in about 4 to 5 years, so you would have to recharge them, witch can be very costley 9 big buck!

3) There are no coax connections on a plasma, so one would end having to by an RF Modulator!

4) There not as heavy as a plasma!

5) and the LCD Tv%26#39;s you can touch the screen with your finger, If you touched a Plasma screen with your finger, the oils would run the screen!

6) and the plasmas require a special cleaner when trying to wash the screen! The cleaner also comes with a warning label that it can eritate ones skin! The LCD TV%26#39;s can be wshed with glass cleaner, just don%26#39;t spray it directly on to the TV lol!! Personally, I like plasma better because it seems brighter. LCD runs a little less costly. Plasma is cheaper and has a wider viewing angle then most lcd%26#39;s but they can overheat and get burn-ins. Although LCD%26#39;s have smaller viewing angles, are more expensive and can%26#39;t display deep black, I like them better because of crisper images, no risk of burn-ins and because they can be brighter than plasmas. LCD%26#39;s are rapidly catching up to plasma in its shortcomings so some better brands don%26#39;t have the problems mentioned above. LCD cause you don%26#39;t have to put a hole through your wall! LCD T.V%26#39;S are more costly and if you visit a store these are the ones the sales agents will push. We are fortunate to have LCD and plasma and we as a family much prefer the plasma t.v. (The cheaper of the two) The clarity and definition of the picture is outstanding. hope this helps :-)
