Why do people say "SOLD" on an iten that they listed, when it`s not actually sold?

Say, a Nokia is on eBay and the title is

"NOKIA N80 BLAHBLAHBLAH SOLD!!"

i mean, it%26#39;s not really sol, yet.

dosen%26#39;t that kind of discourage the

person to NOT look at the listing since it`s already "SOLD"?

Answer:

Well it%26#39;s a loophole that they think they%26#39;re getting around. They%26#39;ll still allow you to put down money for the item even though it has sold in the title. When you ask why you never got it, they%26#39;ll turn around and say it says SOLD in the title.

If you think something is BS then it probably is BS
