Why do so many people ask questions about?

why do so many people ask questions about their ipod, does anyone else think its annoying or just me?

Answer:

because owning an ipod has become a ridiculous status symbol. apple has transformed a practical appliance into a material item with its little upgrades and accessories and skins that serve no purpose, only make fashion statements. people use the word ipod as much as possible in everyday converstaion to sound cool, because owning an ipod means a) they can afford one b) they like music c) they are technoligically inclined and d) they can identify easily with/approach other hip ipod owners. asking a question about an ipod accomplishes the same thing, only it connects with random people in cyberspace as opposed to random people sharing your seat on public transportation. plus, as with any trendy material object, people wiill purchase them by the millions out of ignorance, producing thousands of really dumb repetitive questions, reflecting their owners%26#39; state of being. And finally, as literacy levels continue to plummet, more and more will discard/ not refer to their user manuals, prefering the instant gratification of a place like CeQnA.com. I think it is odd that so many people think it is so cool to have something they know so little about.

But then, maybe I%26#39;m just old fashioned. I prefer my old ipaq hw6515.. it can do just a little bit more than play mp3s and strangely, it doesnt seem to care where the mp3s come from. Cuz theyre idots and dont kno how to use it
