Who thinks a phone should just be a phone? plaese read my rant and tell me what you think about toda

You get a new phone right, use the camera for a few days, use the mp3 for about a week till you see it%26#39;s too small and the same song keeps repeating over and over (and you more then likely already have an mp3 of some kind) and then you realise that having all these bits and bobs on it just makes it the size of a brick in you pocket!? Who agrees with me that there is just no point in having these things put on your phone as it is a phone and not a part of batman’s utility belt?

Can I extend that rant to devices in general? This is like the 1980%26#39;s when they started putting digital clocks on everything -- can openers, fridges, coffee makers, you name it -- because it was easy to do. The end result was that everybody%26#39;s house was filled with flashing 12:00%26#39;s because nobody could be bothered to set clocks all over the place. The manufacturers finally learned and stopped doing it. The gizmo manufacturers of the new millenium are doing the same thing now, only now they%26#39;re putting in cameras that take crappy pictures and music players with limited functions that only make the phone harder to use. Eventually, consumers will push back (hopefully) and say that they just wanted a phone.

And what? You didn%26#39;t get GPS on your phone? Time to upgrade, dude. i agree camera is good with kids but other stuff a load of rubbish I haven%26#39;t got a mobile as I don%26#39;t even see the point of having the phone; let alone all of the gadgets as well. If you are a business person then maybe, but all of these little twerps phoning their mates on the bus etc. is beyond me. I use the mobile as a mobile phone, I don%26#39;t waste time with its fancy functions or games, they are kind of useless to me Right. That is why I am getting a KRAZR next time! I agree with you about the mp3 player thang and all that. I quite like having a phone on my camera for those funny occasions when you %26#39;just wish you had a camera on you%26#39;. Dont like the fact that horrible little teenagers use it to film themselves beating up some poor old pensioner.
