My 15 month old Hoover Purepower vacuum won%26#39;t stand up on its own. I was using it and it was fine and then, all of a sudden, there wasn%26#39;t any resistance when I tried to stand it on its%26#39; own. The whole thing just slides smoothly up and down. The height adjuster is the same also. Has anybody had the same and did they manage to sort it? thanks.

Take it back to the shop and demand your money back.
Be rude and very loud.
They should not be allowed to sell such shoddy goods.
Quote the Sale of Goods Act at them and do NOT be put off by their attitude.
If you bought it at Currys, don%26#39;t bother with the above, just go straight to the Court and sue the bastards.
