Why wont the freq. for CB channel 9 go into my scanner?? (27.065)?

IT KEEPS COMMING UP ERROR... IS THERE ANY OTHER WAY TO GET AROUND THAT?

What kind of scanner? Most scanners for fire, police, and ham radio frequencies are for FM type reception. CB radio is mostly all AM type broadcast service. Maybe also, your scanner does not cover that band.? (Or too many digits. )Some older scanners will not accept 27.065...Try 27.06.. Only scanners that cover Aircraft band use AM transmission!! (And usually ONLY on that band.)
