Why do we allow electronic instruments to warm-up before use?

Why do we allow electronic instruments to warm-up before use?

Answer:

All electronic devices require time to thermally stabilize. Circuits often have devices that compensate for temperature changes, but when you%26#39;re playing a note you%26#39;d probably like the note not to change.

If everything is thermally stable, the temperature compensation won%26#39;t be changing so the note won%26#39;t change. If you start playing before things are thermally stabilized, you may hear the temperature compensation circuit work -- and change your note! so the instrument can be more effcient for use
