Your friend lends you a DVD and you want to burn it onto your own disk (not stealing) will it damage

thanks and also how can you do i know it sounds not particlarly nice but i wont be damaging her dvd and thats what im concerned about. thanks

Answer:

Assuming that the DVD is not copy protected (meaning a commercial DVD brought in a store), you simly put it into your DVD burner and using your burner software select that want to copy the disc. It will read the disc for a while, and then prompt you to insert a blank DVD. After a few more minutes, you will have a copy.

You will not damage the DVD if you copy it. All a "copy" does to the original DVD is read the DVD, just the same as it would do if you were to watch the DVD.
