With a digital voice recorder how can i copy it from the device to the computer?

I have a digital voice recorder and i need to copy it onto a disk, the only method i know would be the old school way of holding it up to a tape recorder..is there a thing that can connect it to the computer

If it%26#39;s digital, does it have a USB connection? You can transfer it that way, or look for a line out hole on the side. That may work... if you can update with the make and model it might help answer your question.

depending on the model , it could have a USB connector on it (mini-usb) - if you plug it in to a computer it should easily see it
