Have you tried resynchronizing the Remote to the Wii? Try pressing the buttons on the Wii and Remote to sync up the remote to the Wii there should be a quick instruction manual about this. If that doesn%26#39;t work I%26#39;m not sure what the problem is, but it%26#39;ll help to check to make sure all the wires are connected to the Wii. try hitting the "reset" button, this happened to my ps2 with that controller and so i had to reset the system and that took care of it. Since the remotes are wireless, you need the wii to learn it by pressing a button on the wii(usually very small) and then the one on the remote. return the piece of junk(wii)
