Why wont my toshiba dvd player play dvds?

I have a toshiba dvd player, it was inexpensive about $60 and the power works; but when I put dvd%26#39;s in, there is a message displayed that says it is not readalbe. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

The Cd%26#39;s data might of been damaged.



There is also a chance the Your Cd Player it not reading the right data, in other words the censor might be damaged.



There is also a chance you CD might of lost the needed data.

Don%26#39;t try to modify it



Keep your CD safe.



Don%26#39;t drop your DVD Player



Don%26#39;t Mess with its function
