...did you spill something on them or break them? ha, is the volume turned on? click the volume icon on the right hand side of the task bar and make sure the sound is on.
if you do not have a volume icon,
go to control panel,
click sound speech and audio devices,
click adjust the system volume
make sure the volume is up Make sure your volume is turned up.
Check your mute button.
If these two things are OK
click start,
click on control panel.
click on system icon.
click on hardware tab
click on "device manager"
scroll down menu and put
check mark back into
"sounds" box.
