am i gonna start a fire, or

ruin my cd player, or

will anything bad happen by using the wrong voltage n stuff,

and what does the 7.5 and 600ma ,800ma mean

thanks for anybody%26#39;s help if they know whtat the hell i am talking about.

Answer:

On your phone charger the 6.5 is the voltage and the 800 ma is the current. Your cd player requires 7.5 volts at 600ma. Your charger puts out less voltage than the cd player requires. This may or may not put an extra strain on your phone charger. It probably won%26#39;t start a fire and won%26#39;t ruin your cd player however if the charger is straining because of the voltage requirements then you could burn out your phone charger. It would be much better if you got a 7.5 volt adapter with at least 600 ma output for your cd player.
