I tend to like Allen Bradley more, but Siemens is cheaper.
Answer:
i have worked with the above and it always (seems to me at least) depended on the application of the processes i needed to control. it does seem easier to train others with the AB, Pico isn%26#39;t so bad but can be limited to it%26#39;s programmablility. there was another one that i used, a product from Japan, but i cannot remember the brand, but it was very simple to program, dang, i wish i could remember, i could write the parameters on the laptop and then download them to the plc, all it took was basically for the operator to turn the machine on or off. to be honest with you i have never been exposed to Siemens plc product but am well aware of there quality from previous equipment. just an opinion, though limited.
