i want to buy an AC for my bedroom i have seen many ACs of differenet companies and I am confused my bedroom is 12X12 foot
Answer:
You%26#39;ll be surprised how most ACs look similiar when you look inside. I%26#39;d say the only factors you should look for would be:
1. After-sales service options
2. Features on remote and control panel, a timer, a auto-on-off scheduler etc would be an added advantage
3. Looks play a role, some ACs can be downright ugly.
4. Type of AC, split/window/etc. hitachi or O general BLue star is the best one.If u cannot spend much money go for LG vediocon ,we have it everywhere in our city! if you are prepared to shell out some extra money then carrier is possibly the best (in terms of performance and life),
though the cost is a deterrent Look at consumer report, make sure you have correct edition for your country.
Some info is on the Internet also, it is worth investigating. vediocon Before arriving at an answer for your question, itis necessary to know whether your bedroom is always sun facing or not, besides other factors such as rooms on top. Assuming that your bedroom is situated in the ground or in the middle floors of a building with not much sun light exposure, it is enough if you go for a one tonner AC. Otherwise you may require an AC with a 1.5 ton capacity. Now coming to the other question of brands, there are several well known ones in the market. In the high end brands, you may find OGeneral and Hitachi are quite good, although slightly expensive. They are generally silent in their operation and also long lasting. Please go through the specifications of the brands before buying the machine. Check for the EER(Energy Efficiency Ratio) of the products, as the higher EER is good for lower Electricity consumption. Check also for their BTU, as again the higher ratio is better for cooling efficiency. In the middle range you may find Samsung, Blue Star,LG, Videocon and Onida are there. But you may notice that proportionately the BTU and EER of these may be lower, although they also function reasonably well. Good Luck. if u r ready to spend between Rs.20,000-40,000,then panasonic e-ion ACs r the best.we have a 2.5 tonne split ac in our 18X20 foot hall room. it cost us Rs.30,000
