Mike Dish Network In my opinion Dish Network is better. Cable rates continue to raise! If you live in a area served by AT%26T you can get AT%26T-Dish Network(They Market The Service) along with Telephone, DSL, Long Distance and you can save a chunk of $$$$. You hear about Dish signal loss during heavy storms. Very Seldom have I experienced the loss of signal.

it depends on what kind of programing u like but as far as prices they r about the same Direct Tv I think each is better in some areas than others. My sister and her husband love direct tv (they live in Washington DC). However, my brother and his wife used to have dish network but decided to try direct tv and they hate it. They%26#39;ve had nothing but problems. Before it was installed, they had been told they would get HDTV and some other features, but when it was installed they didn%26#39;t get those features. They called and complained but the company wouldn%26#39;t honor what they were told. So now they are saying that the second their contract is up they are switching back to dish network. The only problem with that is the weather can mess up the dish (we live in Nevada) but I guess they don%26#39;t mind it.

THE BRAND THAT MAKES THE BEST QUALITY DVD+/-R/RWs IS Philips and Memorex. Available at Circuit City I found this really great file format called kvcd where u can burn everything 2 a cd. Download BitComet (just search for it in google) and then go to www.mininova.org and look for kvcd but make sure to get the DVDRip. I have all the new movies, even Spider-Man 3. Blu-Ray! hd-dvd Blu-Ray Rather than the meaningless "my games console format is better than yours" answers that you are going to get, you need some facts. Blu-ray discs have the potential to be better: larger capacity is one key advantage (some others were listed by another answerer.) However, that does not mean it will come out on top. The betamax/VHS case is evidence of this: the inferior VHS won eventually.

So I%26#39;d say, if you define "better" as "technical specifications which show a higher quality, amount of storage capacity, etc." then Blu-Ray is the format for you. If you define "better" as "the one with the most movies", you will just have to wait and see what the public go for and then ultimately what the movie people go for. Too much money has been invested by all parties for either to fail. It won%26#39;t be long before there%26#39;s a compatible player for both formats.

From when I went on a visit to Codemasters, they were all raving about Blu Ray because of it%26#39;s capacity, but that%26#39;s gaming.

It%26#39;s a case of sit back and wait to see who/what is going to happen and win through consumer demand because of the price at the moment. Remember when DVD came out? ￡400+ for a player.and now you can get a Tesco value player for 17 quid!! Whoever gets the price down first will win regardless of the quality. Beta was superior to VHS but look who won! As you can see from the answers every one has their own view point. If you are thinking of buying I would hold on a bit yet till one or the other becomes standard. The Blu Ray squad including Sony Disney and many others are changing the specification of Blu Ray and there is some discagreement on whetehr or not the PS3 will actually work with the new spec. Ever sense the past few years they have been going down hill!!

Sirius is your best bet! It has a better selection of talk and sports channels! XM just has baseball! While Sirius has Football,Basketball, Nascar, College ball, and hockey!

Other famous people on sirius are Howard stern and Martha Stewart!! SIRIUS is mostly music without commercials. Well, the stations I listen to are. If you have DISH network, they have SIRIUS radio in the 6000%26#39;s.
