Most electronic stores carry rechargeable batteries. With the advent of alkaline batteries and the need of some devices to use only alkaline batteries, make sure you get the right kind of rechargeable batteries and the proper recharging device for those batteries. Standard rechargeable batteries are not alkaline, and standard recharging units cannot properly recharge alkaline batteries. Check the instructions for your device for the type of batteries needed. If there is no "alkaline only" notice, any AAA battery should work, including alkaline. Most rechargers will recharge AA, AAA, C %26 D type batteries as they are all 1.5 volt batteries. Some rechargers even do 9 volt batteries as well. You should be able to buy them wherever rechargeable AA batteries are sold. Most of the AA chargers have a way to convert it for AAA use.
